How We Use AI

1. Our approach

Author Your Assets is built on a simple conviction. Your thoughts are assets. The ideas, the lived experience, and the judgment behind our work are human, and they come first. AI is a tool we use to turn that thinking into finished work more quickly and more consistently. It assists. It does not author.

We believe in being open about that. Plenty of companies use AI quietly. We would rather tell you, in plain words, so you know exactly what you are getting and what you are not.

2. Where we use AI

Depending on the project, we may use AI tools to assist with:

• Drafting and editing written content, from a rough voice note or outline toward a finished piece
• Summarizing, formatting, and adapting work across different platforms and formats
• Automating and orchestrating routine steps in our systems, so the repetitive parts run on their own
• Research and analysis to inform decisions, which we then verify
• Powering voice and chat assistants that answer routine questions and help people book a time to speak with a person
• Generating or refining visuals and media, where noted

3. Human judgment stays in charge

Every meaningful decision and every published piece passes through a person. We review what AI produces, we correct it, and we are the ones accountable for the result. The strategy, the voice, and the final call are ours, not the model's.

Put plainly, AI helps us do the work. It does not replace the thinking that the work depends on.

4. What AI does not do

We draw firm lines around what we will not hand to a tool:

• It does not give professional advice in place of a qualified person. Where we build assistants for clients in fields like law, the assistant gathers information and books a consultation, and it never gives legal advice.
• It does not make final decisions on its own. A person signs off.
• It does not stand in for a real relationship. When something matters, you reach a human.

5. Accuracy and limitations

AI tools can be confidently wrong. They can invent details, miss context, or reflect bias in their training. We know this, and we build around it by reviewing and verifying anything we rely on before it goes out.

Still, no process is perfect. If you ever spot something that looks off in our content or in an assistant we built, please tell us and we will fix it.

6. Your data and AI tools

We are careful about what information goes into AI tools. We follow a simple rule: collect only what is necessary, and keep sensitive or confidential information out of tools that could use it to train their models. When we work with clients, we apply the same discipline to their information and their customers' information.

7. Automated conversations

If you interact with a voice or chat assistant on one of our sites, or on a site we built for a client, you are talking with an automated system, not a person. We disclose that up front. These assistants are there to help with routine questions and to connect you with a human, and the conversation may be recorded so a person can review it and follow up.

Anything you share with an automated assistant is not a substitute for speaking with the person you actually need, and it is not confidential in the way a direct conversation with that person would be.

8. Third-party AI providers

We use reputable third-party AI services to power some of this work, including providers for language models, voice and chat agents, and content and design tools. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Their tools and our stack change over time as better options appear.

9. No misrepresentation

We do not pass off automated systems as human where that distinction matters, and we do not present AI-assisted work as something it is not. Our aim is to make good work faster, with the honesty that lets you trust it.

As the technology and our use of it evolve, we will update this page. The date at the top reflects the most recent version. We encourage you to check back from time to time.
